| Book Artists in Schools |
Worcester Arts Workshop has worked extensively in schools throughout the county of Worcestershire and beyond, developing and delivering arts-based projects. Working in primary, secondary and special schools and with all ages, we will design and develop arts residencies or projects to your school’s individual needs and requirements. We offer creative activities, techniques and imaginative solutions which can relate to parts of the National Curriculum, QCA’s or be part of a creative learning experience. We are able to call on a diverse range of professional arts practitioners, all highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They include visual artists, film-makers, sculptors, installation artists, digital and textile artists, musicians, poets and drama specialists. During an educational arts residency, the Workshop’s team of lead and support artists will deliver a timetable, agreed to suit the school’s need, of exciting and diverse creative workshops, culminating in a stimulating installation or exhibition. All materials and equipment can be supplied. Training sessions for teachers are also available. For more information on developing a residency or project and costs and availability, contact John or Kate on 01905 21095 or by e-mail to: john.waw@eurotelonline.com or kate.waw@eurotelonline.com
