Recent Schools Projects
2007 'Brave New Worlds' - week long residency at Dines Green Primary School creating installations around the school build. Each installation represented a different world 'Fluorescent Sea', 'Brown Paper Island', 'Plastic Sky' and 'The Space Junk Theatre'.

Rediscovering Bewdley’ – a commission by Bewdley Development Trust. An installation of lanterns on the riverfront in Bewdley for the weekend event, a lantern procession and workshops with two middle schools, an installations created by children from five first schools and fire sculptures.

‘ Telford Park event’ – lantern installation including spring flowers, floating water-lily lanterns and floating coloured lights. Event part of a long-term arts based project working with schools in Telford organised by Pablo Productions which may include further Workshop participation.

 

Vale of Evesham Special School: ‘Ed the Explorer’ – a four-day residency working with the whole school. Storyteller, visual arts workshops and drumming by Worcester-based drumming group, ‘Drumlove’ leading to a performance for pupils and parents.

 

Tenacres First School, Redditch – two-day residency, porcelain ceramics

 
 

Ipsley Middle School, Redditch – three-day residency, large mosaic for reception area

 

 
 

Rushwick CE Primary School, Worcester – one-day residency, ‘African Banners’

 
 

‘Celebration of Autumn’ – commissioned by the Friends of Cripplegate Park in Worcester to provide lantern-making workshops in schools and community centres: Dines Green Primary, Hallow Cof E, Christopher Whitehead Language College, The Green Centre, plus willow construction workshop on the day for their ‘Celebration of Autumn Event’ featuring an orienteering competition after dark in the lantern-lit park.

  Rushwick Pre-school, Worcester – four-day residency, ceramics and crafts  

Warndon Primary & Nursery School – one-day residency making large ‘heads’ for nativity play in Worcester Cathedral

 
Red Hill CE Primary School, Worcester – production of film for the schools extended services consultation process  
Wychavon Banners – commission by Wychavon District Council to produce five banners for flooded-out shops in Evesham based on designs produced in a workshop by children from Blackminster Middle School, Evesham
 

Worcester Victorian Xmas Fayre Opening Parade - lantern-making workshops with three Worcester primary schools: Pitmaston Primary, Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Primary and St Clements CE Primary, production of three large star lanterns and lantern parade with sixty children.
