2006

‘River Procession’, Three Choirs & Worcester Festivals – willow sculptures mounted on narrowboats for opening procession of the Three Choirs Festival and closing event of the Worcester Festival

 

Worcester Victorian Xmas Fayre Opening Parade – lantern-making workshops with three primary schools, banners of coats of arms of Worcester and its two twinned towns, Le Vesinet and Kleve, and large ‘swan’ lanterns for an opening ceremony parade.

2007

‘Rediscovering Bewdley’ – a commission funded by Bewdley Town Council and Wyre Forest District Council: schools workshops making willow butterfly lanterns and a ‘field of spring flowers’ installation made by children from first and middle schools in the Bewdley area, plus jugglers, pyrotechnics and forty riverside globe lanterns.

‘Ten Poor Weavers’ – commissioned drama with music by Worcester’s ‘Volcano’ community choir, inspired by the history and building of St Swithun’s Church, Worcester

  Nativity Project, Worcester Guildhall – commission by Worcester Rotary Club to produce life-size nativity figures (Jesus, Mary & Joseph) for display outside the Guildhall in Worcester, replacing lost or vandalised figures
