Punk and a Pint night Headline Kick the Clown
March 16, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Kick The Clown are a 4 piece punk band from Worcester who have built a reputation for having energetic shows that have left rooms dripping in sweat. This is their first time playing at the Worcester Arts Workshop for the ‘Punk and a Pint Night’.
They have been described as loud, savage, in your face; and snotty hardcore punk. They combine swagger, rare charisma and DIY ethos to create controlled chaos on stage. The band claims every inch of the floor as their own, bringing wild melodies, shouts, sweat, pain and clown masks to enthral the audience. Mixing a variety of genres such as old school punk rock, hip-hop, metal, hard core and even jazz.
They are joined by Hey Jester, another Worcestershire band, who have recently released 2 singles ‘Sickly Sweet’ and ‘Pepper Spray’. Pop punk band, Bones Like That, will be opening the show. Formed in 2016 they have played in venues such as The Fleece in Bristol, Moles in Bath and The Subscription rooms in Stroud. They have recorded an EP called ‘Not For Nothing’.
