These sessions are provided by CAGED Arts CIC and with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England.

Learn photography skills, develop your voice and build your own exhibition.

A 3 day, free, photography academy exploring portrait photography. Delivered by award winning documentarian Paul Stringer and the Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service, these sessions will take you from the basics of photography, building your creative voice, exploring interview techniques, and bringing all of these elements together to tell the story through a series of images.

Over the 3 days we’ll be building towards an exhibition of your work in the Worcester Arts Workshop gallery space in October.

Whether you’ve never picked up a camera before or you’d like to build your skills – all are welcome.

All equipment is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own camera if you have one – or explore shooting on your smartphone.

Suitable for young people 13-19.
