Summer Arts Fest 2017

School is out, the sun is shining in the sky and you’re not going on holiday for another 2 weeks. Join Worcester Arts Workshop for a three day summer arts festival 8th-10th August for activities for all ages, a mixture of free and ticketed events – you’re bound to find something for everyone.

We kick off on Tuesday with pottery for young people 5-11; whether you’ve never even seen clay before or you’re a regular at our weekly kids pottery sessions – join us as we make a masterpiece you can take away on the day. If pottery isn’t your thing, why not have a go at our Holiday Art Club (ages 5-11) as we make postcards from your dream holiday.

The courtyard will be filled with hustle and bustle all day, including free play activities and a 2pm a free magic show suitable for all ages.

Wednesday sees our Art Club for Young People return for a holiday special for ages 11-15, and there’s also a free DJ workshop for aspiring DJs of the future. Or come and create a beach scene with us in chalk on our courtyard, play with our beach toys and pretend we’re somewhere tropical!

Finally, Thursday is a day for our tiniest artists. We have a holiday special of Dancefest’s popular movers and wobblers for wobblers aged 1-4 and their responsible grown ups. If all this is too much, you can stay for a free story telling session from writer Charley Barnes.
